Steps that have been taken to promote the Four Licensing Objectives
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. Each event will be assessed and risk managed and the appropriate receptacles will be used for the cliental and layout of the event
2. Designated drinking areas outside to be assessed for each individual event, bar staff to be briefed, and signage will be placed at the exit of the site
3. All bar staff will be briefed regards binge drinking and cheap shots and alco-pops will not be sold
4. I will use the appropriate numbers of security personnel and stewards in accordance with H&S guidelines ensuring effective controls at all times these will have radio contact with production at all times
5. All staff on site, including production, bar, security staff and stewards, will be briefed regards crime prevention measures
6. SIA security on site, with trained stewards
Public Safety
1. Drink-aware and the 21 rule will be put into place
2. A zero tolerance drug policy including the appropriate use of searching/amnesty boxes to combat drug crime will be put into place if the risk assessment on the individual event deems necessary
3. Each event will be assessed and where appropriate bottles will be decanted into plastic glasses, however in the case of table service and glass is used, waiters will collect empty glasses throughout the event
Protection of Children from Harm
Robust proof of age provisions to include prevention of under-18’s entering the premises where appropriate and the requirement for anyone looking under 21 to provide proof of age in the form of a photo driving licence, passport or accredited photo ID card bearing the pass hologram, PASS is a UK’s national guarantee scheme for proof-of-age cards.
