ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Conditions agreed with Environmental Health Authority
1. Staff will check prior to entertainment, and periodically during the entertainment, that all windows and doors are shut.
2. A senior member of staff (manager) will assess the impact of any noisy activities on neighbouring residential premises at the start of the activity/entertainment and periodically throughout the activity/entertainment.
3. Patrons will be asked not to stand around talking in the street outside the premises or any car park; and asked to leave the vicinity quickly and quietly.
Steps taken in order to promote the four Licensing objectives:
1. Staff will be trained on the requirements of the Licensing Act 2003 when they are recruited.
2. Opened bottles or drinks containers will not be allowed to be brought onto or taken from the premises and empty vessels will be removed as soon as they are finished with by regular collections in the trading area.
3. Staff will be trained in drugs awareness and regular checks will be made of all public areas including toilets.
4. Area outside premises covered by CCTV.
5. Irresponsible drinks promotions will not be run.
6. The fire safety measures with which the premises are provided will be maintained in good working order and their adequacy will be determined on a regular basis by the carrying out of a risk assessment as required by and in accordance with the Fire Precautions (Workplace) regulations.
7. Gas and Electrical equipment will be regularly checked by a suitably qualified person.
8. Means of escape will be maintained unobstructed, immediately available and clearly identifiable.
9. Upholstered seating will be fire resistant and comply with current safety regulations.
10. Free drinking water will be available at all times.
11. Recorded music volume will be reduced to background level during the wind down period.
12. All windows will be closed after 23:00 hrs.
13. A notice requesting customers leave in a quiet and orderly fashion at the end of trading time will be placed prominently near to exits,
14. Deliveries will not be taken either at an unreasonably early time in the morning or late at night. Kegs, bottles and bins will not be moved outside at night.
15. Persons under the age of 18 will not be allowed on the premises after 19:00 hours except when attending family functions.
16. Photographic proof of age will be required to be shown by anyone seeking to become a member who appears may be under 18 years of age.
