ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Conditions that have been agreed by The Trading Standards Officer
Protection of Children from Harm
1. Signs will be displayed to inform customers that anyone who looks under 21 years of age will be asked for accredited photo I/D and staff will be appropriately trained in implementing this policy
Steps that have been taken to promote the four licensing objectives
1. Digital CCTV is installed and maintained to the satisfaction of the police and Local Licensing Department
2. A notice is displayed prominently at the entrance to the premises advising patrons that CCTV is in operation
3. CCTV recordings will be maintained for a period of one month
4. A proof of age scheme will be in force to the satisfaction of the police and Licensing Authority
5. The store will subscribe to the ‘PARC’ (Plymouth Against Retail Crime) Scheme or an equivalent scheme such as is in force from time to time
6. Mobile loss prevention officers may be contacted by staff at the store and are available to advise and/or attend the store between the hours of 08.00 and 22.00 to assist in all matters of crime prevention
7. The fire and other safety measures with which the premises are provided, will be maintained in good working order rand their adequacy will be determined on a regular basis by the carrying out of risk assessments, as required by and in accordance with the Fire Precautions (workplace) Regulations and/or other legal requirements as shall be in force from time to time
8. An adequate and appropriate supply of first aid equipment and materials will be available for the use of patrons and staff
9. All staff will receive training regarding their actions in the event of an emergency to ensure the safety of colleagues and patrons
10. All rubbish produced by the premises will be stored securely in a designated area
11. The movement of bins and rubbish outside the area will be kept to a minimum outside the normal working day
