ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
A Conditions agreed with The Environmental Authority
General Noise Controls (Prevention of Public Nuisance)
1. Doors and windows will be kept shut during entertainment
2. A senior member of staff (manager) will assess the impact of any noisy activities on neighbouring premises at the start of the activity/entertainment and periodically throughout the activity/entertainment and take action to reduce noise levels if they are found to be excessive/distinguishable above background levels at the nearest residential property
3. Before 23.00hrs
To prevent entertainment being intrusive, noise emanating from the premises will not be clearly audible one metre from the façade of the nearest residential property
B Steps taken to promote the Four Licensing Objectives
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. Toughened glass is used
2. No drinks promotions
3. CCTV system in use
4. Door supervisors (when necessary)
5. Zero tolerance to drugs and fighting
6. Regular checks in the toilets
Public Safety
1. Fire safety equipment available
2. Emergency lighting installed
3. Regular glass and bottle collection
4. Maximum occupancy of 150 persons
5. First aid box provided
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. Double glazing fitted
2. Noise will not emanate from the premises such as to cause persons in the neighbourhood to be unreasonably disturbed
The Protection of Children from Harm
1. Soft drinks available
2. Proof of age requested
