ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
A Supply of alcohol
No intoxicating liquor shall be supplied otherwise than to a member of the Friary Vaults Club who has been a member for at least two days or whose nomination and application for membership was made at least two days before his admissions, a guest of such a member bona fide entertained by him at his own expense or a person whose admission to the Club premises is provided for by the Rules of the Club.
B Conditions agreed with Environmental Health Authority.
1. To prevent entertainment being intrusive, noise emanating from the premises will not be clearly audible 1 metre from the façade of the nearest residential property.
2. Doors and windows will be kept shut during entertainment.
3. Suitable signage at the exit to request the co-operation of patrons to make as little noise as possible when leaving the premises.
4. An announcement will be made prior to closing requesting patrons co-operation in leaving the premises and vicinity as quietly and quickly as possible.
5. A member of staff will be positioned at exits particularly at closing times.
6. A specific taxi operator will be nominated for staff and customers use. The company’s telephone number is advertised to customers. In addition, staff will leave as quietly as possible, particularly at night and early in the morning.
C Steps taken in order to promote the four Licensing objectives
1. All staff will be trained to achieve the Licensing objectives.
2. CCTV in operation internally and externally.
3. Door Fob entry system in operation.
4. All membership applications are vetted.
5. Ongoing risk assessments in operation.
6. Drinking water available.
7. All facilities for disable in situ.
8. All windows double-glazed to prevent noise.
9. Installation of air conditioning to avoid use of extractors.
10. Children under 16 years of age must vacate the premises at 19:00 hrs.
11. Only accredited ID cards accepted.
