ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
A Supply of alcohol
Any existing conditions attached to existing justices licence
1. Intoxicating liquor shall not be sold or supplied on the premises otherwise than to persons taking table meals there and for consumption by such a person as an ancillary to his meal
2. Suitable beverages other than intoxicating liquor (including drinking water) shall be equally available for consumption with or otherwise as an ancillary to meals served in the licensed premises
B Condition that have been agreed with The Environmental Health Authority
1. A specific taxi operator has been nominated for staff and customers use. The company’s telephone number is advertised to customers. The operator, and all drivers, are aware that they should arrive and depart as quietly as possible, should not sound vehicle horns as a signal of their arrival or leave engines idling unnecessarily. In addition staff will leave as quietly as possible, particularly at night and early in the morning
2. Management will control the sound levels of the music/entertainment
3. Delivery/Collection/Storage Activities
The delivery of goods is restricted to the normal working day
C Steps that have been taken to promote the Four Licensing Objectives
1. Staff banned from drinking on duty
2. Records maintained of any material incidents within or in immediate vicinity of premises
3. Drugs warning notices in place
4. Zero tolerance to drugs use and dealing
5. Policy of banning customers for misbehaviour within or in vicinity of premises where deemed necessary and appropriate
6. Availability of soft drinks, non-alcoholic and/or low alcohol beverages at all times
7. Food available
8. Specific staff training and supervision in assessment of customer consumption and condition
9. CCTV system operating both internally and externally
10. Retention on tapes/discs etc for a minimum of 30 days
11. No cheap alcoholic drinks promotions, cut-price drinks, ‘package deals’
12. No drinks hoarding
13. Pro-active policy against ‘binge’ drinking
14. Zero tolerance to offensive conduct
15. Regular glass collection
16. Smoke extractors provided
17. Regular dedicated cleaning of premises
18. Nominated staff to deal with complaints from neighbours
19. CCTV and/or regular monitoring of external areas of premises at night
20. Warning notices in place in relation to under-age drinking
21. Full training for staff in law specifically relating to minors and alcohol and specific photo I/D proof of age requirements
