ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
A Supply of alcohol
Any existing conditions attached to existing justices licence
Special Hours Certificate
o The sale of alcohol must be ancillary to the use of the premises for music and dancing and substantial refreshment.
B Regulated Entertainment
Standard National conditions applying to the existing [public entertainment licence]
Existing special conditions.
o Capacity - 100 persons
o Enhanced CCTV to be installed inside and outside the premises.
o Suitable signage at the exit to request the co-operation of patrons, in particular:
To make as little noise as possible when leaving the premises.
Not to stand around talking in the street outside the premises or any car park, and to drive away as quietly as possible.
o Door staff positioned on exits.
o The use of a lobby to prevent noise break out.
o Between 00:00 hrs and 02:00 hrs
Noise emanating from the premises will not be distinguishable above background levels 1 metre from the façade of the nearest residential property.
C Conditions agreed with Environmental Health Authority
o After 02:00 hrs until 08:00 hrs
Total sound containment within the premises.
D Steps taken in order to promote the four Licensing objectives
1. Nominated emergency First Aider.
2. Staff attendance of Plymouth City Council sponsored Health and Safety and Health and Hygiene workshops.
3. Staff trained in use and safety checks of Fire Fighting equipment.
4. Senior staff carry out daily assesses and risk assessments before and during trading, as directed by Devon Fire & Rescue and PCC Environmental Regulation Services.
5. Internal and External CCTV with Public viewing monitor promoting public awareness.
6. Liaison with local Police Officer.
7. Commission and maintained / monitored heat sensors, air ventilation and air purification system with six weeks interval servicing contract.
8. First Aid trained staff and First Aid provision available to patrons.
9. Sanitary facilities monitored and checked by staff at regular intervals.
10. Clubwatch radio link to Plymouth City Council CCTV system.
11. Occupancy monitored by senior members of staff by clicker counting at peak times of trade, otherwise monitored by staff at regular intervals.
12. Premises works closely with Plymouth City Council, Environmental Regulation Service, Refuse and Traffic / Highways and Devon and Cornwall Constabulary.
13. Taxi account with local firm with pre-designated pick-up point at rear of premises, for staff and patrons.
14. Monitoring and management of sound levels by senior members of staff regarding background music and live entertainment.
15. At 21:00 hrs non-emergency / working lights are switched off in beer garden.
16. Air vent and air purification in operation.
17. Windows closed at peak times of trade.
18. Inner main door operating with a door closing return system.
19. No entry to anyone under the age of 18 years.
