Additional Conditions

• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  (1) The first condition is that no supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence: -

  (a) At a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  (b) At a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  (2) The second condition is that every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

   

• ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE

   

  B              Steps that have been taken to promote the four licensing objectives

  1.              The electrical system, including portable appliances will be inspected and tested annually by a competent person to ensure their safety

  2.              Where temporary electrical equipment is to be used a suitable circuit breaker device will be installed to cover this equipment.  The circuit breaker should operate at a current not exceeding 30 mA and should comply with BS 4293.  This device must he tested monthly and tests will he recorded.

  3.              The gas system including appliances will be inspected and tested by a CORGI registered gas engineer annually and a satisfactory Gas Safety Certificate will be obtained.

  4.              All safety certificates and inspection reports will be kept on site and made available for inspection by officers of relevant statutory bodies.

  5.              The sanitary accommodation consists of:

  6.              All sanitary accommodation will be maintained in good working order. Suitable and sufficient lighting will be provided to the toilets.

  7.              First aid provision will be available for the use of patrons.

  8.              Suitable signage will be positioned at exits to request the co-operation of patrons, in particular to make as little noise as possible when leaving the premises.

  9.              Patrons will be asked not to stand around talking in the street outside the premises or any car park; and asked to leave the vicinity quickly and quietly.

  10.              An announcement will be made prior to closing requesting patrons co-operation in leaving the premises and vicinity as quietly and quickly as possible

  11.              The emergency exits are well fitted and are kept shut during opening hours

  12.              A senior member of staff (manager) will assess the impact of any noisy activities on neighbouring residential premises at the start of the activity/entertainment and periodically throughout the activity/entertainment

  13.              Photographic proof of age will be required to be shown by anyone seeking to purchase alcohol who appears to be under 18 years of age
