ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Conditions agreed with The Environmental Health Authority
1. Patrons will be asked not to stand around talking in the street outside the premises and to leave the vicinity quickly and quietly
2. A senior member of staff (manager) will assess the impact of any noisy activities on neighbouring premises at the start of the activity/entertainment and periodically throughout the activity/entertainment and take action to reduce noise levels if they are found to be excessive/distinguishable above background levels at the nearest residential property
3. Between 23.00hrs & 00.30hrs
To prevent entertainment being intrusive, noise emanating from the premises will not be clearly distinguishable above other noise one metre from the façade of the nearest residential property
4. Doors and windows will be kept shut during entertainment
Steps that have been taken to promote the four Licensing Objectives
1. Opened bottles or drinks containers will not be allowed to be taken from the premises and empty vessels will be removed as soon as they are finished with by regular collections in the trading area
2. Staff will be trained in drugs awareness and regular checks will be made of all public areas including toilets
3. No irresponsible drinks promotions will be run
4. The fire safety measures with which the premises are provided will be maintained in good working order and their adequacy will be determined on a regular basis by the carrying out of a risk assessment as required by and in accordance with the Fire Precautions (workplace) regulations
5. Gas and electrical equipment will be regularly checked by a suitably qualified person
6. Recorded music volume will be reduced to background level during the wind down period to create a mood change
7. A notice will be place prominently at the exits asking customers to leave the area quietly
8. Deliveries will not be accepted at an unreasonably early time in the morning or at night
9. Photographic proof of age will be required to be shown by anyone seeking to purchase alcohol who appears may be under 18 years of age
10. The showing of film will be mainly limited to sporting events etc. Any other display would be considered in the light of suitability for children
