ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Steps taken to promote the four Licensing objectives
1. Concentrate promotions to promote snack and soft drink lines.
2. Promote information regarding moderation of alcohol consumption at all opportunities, including links from the premises website to organizations such as www.drinkaware.co.uk and www.alcoholconcern.org.uk. All invoices will include the words “Please drink sensibly and in moderation”.
3. Drivers will be under strict instructions to keep noise to a minimum; this means that they should not have any in car entertainment systems at a volume that is audible outside the vehicle.
4. Residents of shared accommodation will be advised when the driver will be arriving and to wait for the delivery at the front of the premises.
5. Drivers will not ring doorbells in shared accommodation.
6. Under no circumstances should the driver leave their engine running or any audio equipment playing whilst the car is stationary and engaged in a delivery in a residential area.
7. Drivers whom have been reported as causing a nuisance due to noise etc will be disciplined or dismissed.
8. Customers placing orders for the first time will be asked for their date of birth and password which will be stored on computer ordering system.
9. All persons placing an order for the first time will be asked for identification and asked to confirm the password nominated when ordering.
10. The only valid forms of identification that will be accepted are a Passport or photographic driving licence.
11. All refused deliveries are logged.
12. Delivery drivers will be instructed to ask for the above identification from anyone they suspect of being under 21 years of age.
13. Random checks on delivery drivers about under age policy.
14. A record will be kept of all random checks.
15. All new delivery drivers will be trained and tested in under age sales prevention using approved training materials and will be instructed to sign an operating policy prior to their first delivery.
16. Order information will be emailed to the customer on completion of the payment process.
