ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Regulated Entertainment - Public Bar Area only
Standard National conditions applying to the existing [public entertainment licence]
Existing special conditions.
a) Capacity - 250
b) All fire doors be kept closed and an alarm to be fitted to the doors to ensure they are kept closed.
c) A clicker system be employed to ensure that occupancy figure does not exceed 250 persons.
d) An open door policy and complaints book is to be adopted and operated.
Conditions agreed with Environmental Health Authority
After 02:00 hrs until 04:00 hrs
Total sound containment within the Premises.
Steps taken in order to promote the four Licensing objectives
1. Staff will be trained on the requirements of the Licensing Act 2006 when they are recruited.
2. Opened bottles or drinks containers will not be allowed to be brought in or taken from the premises and empty vessels will be removed as soon as they are finished with by regular collections in the trading area.
3. Staff will be trained in drugs awareness and regular checks will be made of all public areas including toilets.
4. No irresponsible drinks promotion will be run.
5. Premises trade area fully covered by CCTV Radio.
6. Licensed door staff will be employed from 21:00 onwards on all days.
7. The fire safety measures with which the premises are provided will be maintained in good working order and their adequacy will be determined on a regular basis by the carrying out of a risk assessment as required by and in accordance with the Fire Precautions (Workplace) regulations.
8. Gas and electrical equipment will be regularly checked by a suitably qualified person.
9. All staff will be made aware of the issue of drink spiking and will maintain vigilance.
10. Clickers will be used by doormen to ensure the capacity does not exceed the recommended 250 persons.
11. Water will be available free of charge on request.
12. Live and Recorded Music will be turned off when the sale of alcohol is stopped to create a mood change.
13. A notice requesting customers to leave in a quiet and orderly fashion at the end of trading time will be placed prominently near to exits.
14. Rear of the building is sound proofed and a strobe warning light is activated to alert staff if the side door is opened which could allow noise to escape.
15. No bottle skips etc are emptied after 22:00 and no deliveries will be allowed either at an unreasonable time of the morning or at night.
16. Accredited photographic proof of age will be required to be shown by anyone seeking to purchase alcohol who appears may be under 18 years of age.
