ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
A Regulated Entertainment
Standard National conditions applying to the existing [public entertainment licence] [theatre licence].
Existing special conditions.
The rear fire exit onto Castle Street shall remain closed and the alarm shall be in operation at all times.
Occupancy
a) Capacity - 240
b) Theatre - 140
c) Cafe Bar - 100
The sale of alcohol is prohibited except under the authority of a premises licence, a club premises certificate or a temporary event notice.
B Steps that have been taken to promote the four licensing objectives
1. Staff banned from drinking on duty
2. Records maintained of any material incidents within or in immediate vicinity of premises
3. Zero tolerance to drugs use and dealing
4. Availability of soft drinks, non-alcoholic and/or low alcohol beverages at all times
5. Food available
6. Specific staff training and supervision in assessment of customer consumption and condition
7. CCTV covering all internal areas
8. Retention of tapes/discs etc for a minimum of 30 days
9. Licensed door staff to appropriate levels as necessary
10. No cheap alcoholic drinks, promotions cut-price drinks, “package deals”
11. No drinks hoarding
12. Pro-active policy against “binge” drinking
13. Zero tolerance to offensive conduct
14. Regular glass collection
15. Extractors
16. Regular dedicated cleaning of premises
17. Limit on number in premises.
18. Advisory notices re. noise on leaving the premises
19. Freephone or similar facility
20. Nominated staff to deal with complaints from neighbours
21. Warning notices in place in relation to under-age drinking
22. Full training for staff in law specifically relating to minors and alcohol and specific photo I/D proof of age requirements
