ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Steps taken to promote the four Licensing objectives
General
The licensee will promote all licensing objectives by: -
Ensuring staff awareness of the objectives and requirements
Regular staff training focused on achieving and maintaining compliance
Effective supervision of staff and customers throughout operation
Developing good relationships with neighbouring occupiers
Strict adherence to any conditions imposed on Licence
The prevention of crime and disorder
No drinks or open bottles are taken outside the licensed area
Staff undertake regular checks of all areas including toilets
CCTV is installed, operated and regularly monitored
Staff are trained to discourage excessive drinking and associated behaviour
Public Safety
The licensee will seek to promote Public safety by: -
Installing and properly maintaining Fire safety equipment and emergency lighting
Ensuring effective maintenance of all gas and electrical services and equipment
Ensuring that safe customer capacity is not exceeded
Providing seated accommodation for all customers
Encouraging sensible drinking and making available water/soft drinks
The prevention of public nuisance
The licensee will seek to promote public nuisance by: -
Limiting noise emissions - Plant and equipment designed for quiet
Staff management if customer behaviour
Music limited to low-level background
No opening windows
Strict control over times of deliveries (Only between 09:00hrs and 16:00hrs)
Control of odours by effective extract system to design agreed by E.H.O
Strict control over times and arrangements for disposal of waste
Dedicated arrangement with Taxi firm for dispersal of customers.
The protection of children from harm
Whilst the licensee considers that his activities by their nature present a limited risk to children, he will ensure: -
That a range of soft drinks is always available
That staff are trained to be aware of, and to deal with potential or perceived risks to children
That accompanying adults maintain proper oversight of children
