ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
General
• Comprehensive CCTV Coverage
Fully ICO- compliant CCTV system covering all public areas, entrances, and exits, recording during licensable activities and for two hours afterward.
Images retained for at least 31 days and available in a viewable format upon request.
A trained staff member will always be present to operate and download footage when required.
• Staff Training and Management
All staff trained in licensing law, responsible service, conflict management, safeguarding, and premises license conditions. Training records maintained for at least 12 months and available for inspection.
Incident log kept and accessible to authorised officers.
Public Safety Measures
Fire safety equipment, alarms, and emergency lighting maintained. Clear signage for emergency exits.
First aid kit available and trained staff on duty at all times.
• Noise and Nuisance Control
Noise management plan in place: no amplified music after 23:00; doors/windows closed after 23:00 except for access/egress.
Waste disposal scheduled to avoid late-night disturbance.
Staff monitor outside areas to prevent loitering and littering.
No delivery service after 23:00.
Protection of Children from Harm
No alcohol sold or supplied on the premises.
Children permitted only when accompanied by an adult.
Staff trained to identify and report safeguarding concerns.
Additional Measures
Dispersal policy to encourage customers to leave quietly, supported by clear signage.
Delivery drivers instructed to minimise noise and engine idling; no orders taken after 23:00.
Why This Supports Licensing Objectives:
Removing alcohol reduces crime and disorder risk. Extended hours meet late-night food demand without contributing to alcohol-related nuisance.
Robust CCTV, staff training, and noise control mitigate cumulative impact concerns.
The prevention of crime and disorder
Following consultation with Police Alcohol Licensing Officer the following strategy has been implemented.
• The CCTV system is fully compliant with the guidance contained in the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) guidance document (www.informationcommissioner.gov.uk) regarding installation of CCTV is provided at the premises.
• The CCTV equipment will be maintained in good working order and continually record when licensable activity takes place and for a period of two hours afterwards. The CCTV system covers all areas of the premises to which the public have access including any outside areas.
• Images shall be retained for a minimum of 31 days
• The CCTV system can download images to a recognisable viewable format.
• At all times the premises are open for business a member of staff will be present who is capable of operating the CCTV system and downloading images at the request of police or other authorised officer.
• The CCTV system is capable of obtaining a clear head and shoulders image of every person entering or leaving the premises.
• Staff are fully trained to perform their role. They are also trained in the contents of the premises licence including, times of operation, licensable activities and all conditions relating to the premises licence.
• All Training records will be recorded in documentary form that will be available for inspection at the request at all reasonable times by an authorised officer from a relevant responsible authority. The records will be retained for at least 12 months.
• Staff trained in conflict management and responsible service.
• No alcohol on site reduces risk of alcohol-related disorder.
• Incident log maintained and available for inspection.
Public safety

Delivery Driver Guidelines
• No delivery service after 11 pm
• Drivers instructed to turn off engines while waiting to reduce noise.
• Drivers instructed to park in one of the 2 car parks with 50 meters of the Premises, or to use the on-street parking in How St.
• No loud conversations or music from vehicles during late hours.
• Pick-up and drop-off points are designated to minimize disturbance to residents.
• Drivers briefed on respecting local community and avoiding unnecessary noise.
The protection of children from harm
• No alcohol sold or supplied.
