ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Conditions agreed with The Environmental Health Representative
1. An announcement will be made prior to closing requesting patrons co-operation in leaving the premises and vicinity as quietly and quickly as possible
2. Patrons will be asked not to stand around talking in the street outside the premises or any car park, and asked to leave the vicinity quickly and quietly
3. The emergency exits are well fitted and are kept shut during opening hours
4. A specific taxi operator has been nominated for staff and customers use. The company’s telephone number is advertised to customers. The operator, and all drivers, are aware that they should arrive and depart as quietly as possible, should not sound vehicle horns as signal of their arrival or leave engines idling unnecessarily. In addition, staff will leave as quietly as possible, particularly at night and early in the morning.
5. Staff will check prior to entertainment, and periodically during the entertainment, that all windows and doors are shut.
6. A senior member of staff (manager) will assess the impact of any noisy activities on neighbouring residential premises at the start of the activity/entertainment and periodically throughout the activity/entertainment.
7. Management will control the sound levels of the music/entertainment.
8. No live music or similar entertainment (other than background recorded music) beyond midnight.
9. The use of the beer garden will not commence before the start of normal trading hours and will cease at 23.00hrs
Steps that have been taken to promote the four licensing objectives
1. Staff will be trained on the requirements of the Licensing Act 2003 when they are recruited
2. The designated premises supervisor will be a member of a local Pubwatch scheme so long as it exists
3. Function bookings will be limited to 100persons
4. Live music will end at Midnight with the exception of New Years Eve
5. All windows will be kept closed after 20.00hrs
6. Photographic proof of age will be required to be shown by anyone seeking to purchase alcohol who appears to be under 18 years of age
