Steps that have been taken to promote the Four Licensing Objectives
To become a member of the local Pubwatch Group that includes a ‘banned from one banned from all scheme’
Staff to be trained in Crime Prevention methods
Alcohol promotions will not be conducted eg. happy hours throughout
Certified fire alarms, emergency exits and lighting are fitted
Health and safety policy in place and staff are trained in health and safety procedures
A first-aider is always on site
Outside area cleared by 23.30
Noise level of the juke box will be monitored
Signs in place requesting people to leave the premise’s quietly and to respect our neighbours
The use of ‘Prove It’ (PASS) ID cards are being introduced
A full range of soft drinks are on sale
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times, in all areas of the pub
Conditions that have been agreed with The Environmental Health Authority
General noise controls
1. Doors and windows will be kept shut during entertainment.
2. A senior member of staff (manager) will assess the impact of any noisy
activities on neighbouring premises at the start of the
activity/entertainment and periodically throughout the activity/ entertainment and take action to reduce noise levels if they are found to be excessive/ distinguishable above background levels at the nearest residential property
3. Management will control the sound levels of the music/ entertainment.
4. Live music to cease at 23.00 hrs
Before 23.00hrs
5. To prevent entertainment being intrusive, noise emanating from the premises will not be clearly audible 1 metre from the facade of the nearest residential property.
After 11.00pm
6. Noise emanating from the premises will not be distinguishable above back ground levels 1 metre from the facade of the nearest residential property.
