ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
A Supply of alcohol
Any existing conditions attached to existing justices licence
The authorised hours for the sale of alcohol do not prohibit:
1. during the first twenty minutes after the end of authorised hours the consumption of the alcohol on the premises;
2. during the first twenty minutes after the end of authorised hours, the taking of the alcohol from the premises unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel;
3. during the first thirty minutes after the end of authorised hours the consumption of the alcohol on the premises by persons taking meals there if the alcohol was supplied for consumption as ancillary to the meals;
4. consumption of the alcohol on the premises or the taking of sale or supply of alcohol to any person residing in the licensed premises;
5. the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered;
6. the sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club;
7. the sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty’s naval, military or air forces;
8. the taking of alcohol from the premises by a person residing there; or
9. the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by him at his own expense, or the consumption of alcohol by persons so supplied; or
10. the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the business carried on by the holder of the licence, or the consumption of alcohol so supplied, if the liquor is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises.
Conditions imposed by the Environmental Health Representative
1. An announcement will be made prior to closing requesting patrons co-operation in leaving the premises and vicinity as quietly and quickly as
possible
2. To prevent entertainment being intrusive, noise emanating from the premises will not be clearly distinguishable above other noise one metre from the facade of the nearest residential property
3. The use of gardens and external play areas will not commence before the start of normal trading hours and will cease at 23.00hrs
Steps taken for promote the four licensing objectives
1. The electrical system, including portable appliances will be inspected and tested annually by a competent person to ensure their safety
2. The gas system including appliances will be inspected and tested by a CORGI registered gas engineer annually and a satisfactory Gas Safety Certificate will be obtained
3. All safety certificates and inspection reports will be kept on site and made available for inspection by officers of relevant statutory bodies
4. The sanitary accommodation consists of:
Male WC’s 1 Female WC’s 2
Male urinals 1 WHB’s 2
WHB’s 1
5. All sanitary accommodation will be maintained in good working order
6. Suitable and sufficient lighting will be provided to the toilets
7. Provision will be made for the collection and disposal of sanitary towels
8. First aid provision will be available for the use of patrons
9. Suitable signage will be positioned at the exit to request the co-operation of patrons, in particular to make as little noise as possible when leaving the premises
10. Patrons will be asked not to stand around talking in the street outside the premises or any car park; and asked to drive away as quickly and as quietly and possible
11. A specific taxi operator has been nominated for staff and customers use. The company’s telephone number is advertised to customers. The operator, and all drivers, are aware that they should arrive and depart as quietly as possible, should not sound vehicle horns as a signal of their arrival or leave engines idling unnecessarily. In addition, staff are required to leave as quietly as possible, particularly at night and early in the morning
12. Bottle skips and bins, containing cans or bottles will not be emptied outside after 23.00hrs but will be dealt with the next day during normal office hours
