ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
General - all four licensing objectives
All applicants for membership are vetted to ensure we are inclusive and that the person applying is likely to adhere to the principals of our club rules.
We will be aware on any given day which members and their guests have visited the club.
We will promote 'Think 25' and ensure we advertise respect for neighbours.
We will promote cheap non alcoholic drinks for the designated driver.
We will have Flag officers on the premises to ensure members adhere to club regulations.
There will always be 2 responsible persons on duty.
We will adhere to any instructions on fire safety and take actions as required.
We will display notices for members on consideration for neighbours, 'Think 25', fire safety and club regulations.
As a private members club we will insist on behaviours of our members in keeping with being considerate and not causing any nuisance.
The outside seating area will be checked regularly by a member of staff to monitor the behaviour of customers and to ensure that they remain seated.
A staff member will regularly check the impact of noise from customers using the outside seating area on nearby residential properties.
The prevention of crime and disorder
No alcohol will be permitted to be removed from the building.
The Club have set price points for alcoholic beverages, although there may be some promotions should we be overstocked on a specific item. We may also sell guest beers and drinks on occasion.
We will give the authority to the flag officers and committee members to refuse alcohol sales, where it is deemed that a member or guest has had sufficient.
We will plan our opening hours to negate binge drinking.
We will use our powers where necessary to warn or ultimately expel any member who fails to behave in a way consistent with our club expectations and the requirements of the licensing or any other law enforcement officers.
We will have variable lighting ie subdued in the evening but can be lifted as required.
Public safety
We will complete all requisite safety checks and appropriate actions and retain documentation.
We will have an awareness of who is in the building at any given time and a fire safety plan will be in place.
We will limit numbers to a maximum of 60 members at any given time.
We will have emergency measures in place as well as smoke detectors.
We will adhere to requirements from the fire department with reference to evaluation plans, detectors, lighting.
We will promote sensible drinking and Flag Officers and committee members will have the authority to refuse alcohol.
We will collect glasses and bottles regularly and dispose of safely.
We will regulate noise, there will only be background music and on occasions a TV.
The prevention of public nuisance
We have a secure door entry system only members and their guests, along with affiliated guests will be allowed entry.
All visitors will be bona fide guests of a member and will be signed in the visitors book.
No entry will be permitted after 22:30hrs.
We will contain noise within the building.
All activities will take place indoors.
We will display notices by the exits reminded members and guests to respect our neighbours. Contravention could result in the member being expelled from the club.
Have a minimum of 2 Flag officers or committee members in attendance to ensure rules are adhered to.
The protection of children from harm
We will welcome the children of members or guests. They will only be permitted entry if accompanied and in the care of a responsible adult.
There are strict rules about the supervision of children on the premises and have a deadline of 21:00hrs for them to leave the club.
We will retain records of contact details for members and guests will be required to sign in.
We will have in place 'Think 25' checksand request ID as required and hold a refusal log book as a record.
We will brief members who serve drinks to members and guests on regulations, including proxy sales.
We will be aware of any bona fide guests and they will be required to sign in on arrival.
We will ensure talks/training/films will be age appropriate as per the British Board of Classification for film exhibition.
We will hold all alcohol behind a bar or in a locked storage room.
