ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Steps that have been taken to promote the Four Licencing Objectives
1. A notice informing persons that they are entering a gay venue.
2. To discourage customers from congregating on the street as a smoking area is provided at the rear of building.
3. Staff training and monitoring.
4. Off sales only to be taken outside the premise.
5. All internal doors to be kept closed to contain the noise from the venue.
6. A decibel counter to be used to ensure amplified music is played at an acceptable level
7. A notice will be placed prominently at the exits asking customers to leave the area quietly.
Conditions Agreed with the Police Licensing Department
1. Whenever the Designated Premises Supervisor is not at the premises another responsible person will be nominated by the Designated Premises Supervisor as being the person to manage the premises.
2. CCTV to be installed to comply with the ‘UK Police Requirements for Digital CCTV Systems’
3. CCTV cameras to be kept clean and maintained at all times.
4. CCTV images will be retained for a minimum of 31 days.
5. The CCTV system will have the capability of downloading the images to a recognised format.
6. The premises shall be equipped with closed circuit television installed so as to cover all areas where approved adult entertainment will take place and will continually record during these performances
7. A register will be kept detailing all requests by Police for CCTV images. This will include time and date of request, time, date and location of incident, time and date of hand on to Police.
8. During trading hours, members of staff present who are trained to view and download images from CCTV at request of Police.
9. The Police Licensing Department will be informed if the CCTV system is not working.
10. A daily incident logbook detailing all incidents of note at the premises or in the immediate vicinity e.g. slips, accidents, entry refusals and incidents of disorder etc. The log will detail the date, time, type of incident, brief circumstances, action taken and person dealing. The logbook will be made available for up to six months Police or any other responsible authority for inspection, if required. All relevant incidents will be reported to the police at the earliest opportunity.
11. Police Officers will be afforded all possible assistance in the course of their investigations that relate directly to the premise.
12. Door Supervisors will be employed any day of the week that the premises remain open after midnight until close of business.
13. No open bottles or other vessels to be taken from the premises.
Protection of Children from Harm
14. Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 21 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18. The following are the only forms of identification acceptable:

15. Notices obtained from Police publicising the Challenge 21 initiative shall be clearly displayed at the entrance to the premises and behind the bar area at all times.
16. Regular and documented training of staff in relation to the prevention of under age sales.
17. On evenings where adult entertainment is taking place no person under the age of 18 years to be admitted to the premises during the entertainment or be present on the premises for a period of 2 hours prior to the start of the entertainment.
18. Definition of Adult Entertainment: - all references to striptease, nudity, lap dancing, pole dancing and entertainment of a similar nature shall be referred to in these conditions as approved adult entertainment.
19. The approved adult entertainment shall only be performed by the performers/entertainers and the audience shall not be permitted to participate.
20. There shall be no form of physical contact between customers and the performers during approved adult entertainment other than at when the performer introduces him/herself at the start of the performance and again at the conclusion of the performance.
21. A register of performers will be maintained on the premises, which will identify the responsible manager and the performers along with their days and hours of duty.
22. The proprietor/director of the company is to ensure that, prior to engagement, all performers for approved adult entertainment shall provide documents of proof that they are over 18 years of age. Copies of such documents shall be retained on the performers file held at the premises.
23. Performers will wear a G-String or similar piece of clothing on the appropriate part of the body so that at no time they will reveal any part of their genitalia or anus. Clothing shall be neither transparent nor removed.
24. The management of the premises shall be responsible for any prior advertising of performances held at the premises
25. No entertainment involving nudity or entertainment involving any sexual content will be visible from outside the premises.
26. There will be no external advertising or leafleting of the premises or any adult entertainment
27. Performers will stop immediately and move away from any customer who is offensive or attempts to touch them, and shall report such behaviour and any other inappropriate behaviour or breach of house rules to the management.
28. Performers will be required to read all the conditions of this licence and confirm by written record that they have understood and agreed the contents.
