ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
A Supply of alcohol
Any existing conditions attached to existing justices licence
1. the sale and supply of intoxicating liquor shall be limited to those attending the Home Park Stadium areas in connection with organised events, whether sporting, social or business, but subject to the conditions for the Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc) Act 1985.
The authorised hours for the sale of alcohol do not prohibit:
1. during the first twenty minutes after the end of authorised hours the consumption of the alcohol on the premises;
2. during the first twenty minutes after the end of authorised hours, the taking of the alcohol from the premises unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel;
3. during the first thirty minutes after the end of authorised hours the consumption of the alcohol on the premises by persons taking meals there if the alcohol was supplied for consumption as ancillary to the meals;
4. consumption of the alcohol on the premises or the taking of sale or supply of alcohol to any person residing in the licensed premises;
5. the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered;
6. the sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club;
7. the sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty’s naval, military or air forces;
8. the taking of alcohol from the premises by a person residing there; or
9. the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by him at his own expense, or the consumption of alcohol by persons so supplied; or
10. the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the business carried on by the holder of the licence, or the consumption of alcohol so supplied, if the liquor is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises.
Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol Act 1985 s3)
On the occasions of designated sporting events and when such exemption orders are issued, it shall allow the permitted hours to be extended for the period of two hours prior to the commencement of the match and one hour after the termination of the match for the following areas and bars with variations as set out below.
The Executive Suite (formerly the Vice President’s Room) and the Green Room
As above, subject to the following -
The sale, supply and consumption of intoxicating liquor shall be restricted to fully paid members of the club and their guests and personally invited guests of the Plymouth Argyle Football Club.
Persons taking a sit down meal will be able to puchase alcohol up to an additional half an hour earlier to the aforementioned times.
There shall be no admission to the public on match days for one and a quarter hours after the termination of the match.
Except in the case of persons attending private functions not connected with any sporting event when the bar areas for such private functions will remain in use.
The Director’s Room
As above, subject to the following -
The sale, supply and consumption of intoxicating liquor shall be restricted to the Directors of Plymouth Argyle Football Club and their invited guests.
Except in the case of persons attending private functions not connected with any sporting event when the bar areas for such private functions will remain in use.
The Chisholm Lounge and Wembley Lounge and Private Executive Boxes at the ground
As above, subject to the following -
The sale, supply and consumption of intoxicating liquor shall be restricted to
1. Official sponsors of the Plymouth Argyle Football Club and their personally invited guests
2. Private Box Holders and their personally invited guests
The permitted hours shall be as stated above other than no permitted hours within the above, 15 minutes before the match and 15 minutes after the match.
Screens shall be placed in front of the windows to preclude the view of the pitch from these bars up to 15 minutes before the match starts and shall after the match be kept in place for at least 15 minutes.
Concourse Bars
As above subject to the following-
The permitted hours shall cease 5 minutes before the commencement of the match until 5 minutes before half time and then cease again 5 minutes after the start of the second half.
There shall be no permitted hours at the end of the game.
