Steps taken to promote the four licensing objectives
Prevention of Crime and Disorder
CCTV monitoring system to be installed and maintained; images to be recorded and retained for at least 28 days and to be handed to the Police/local authority upon request.
Store fitted with panic button for staff to press in case of emergency.
Incident book to be kept to record anti social criminal or violent behaviour. This to be available for inspection by the Police or any statutory authority upon request.
Public safety
The protection of public nuisance
No deliveries to take place between the hours of 23:00 and 06:00 the following day.
The protection of children from harm
Signage to be displayed in store, that it is an offence for people under 18 years to purchase alcohol.
All staff to be trained in relation to the underage related sales of alcohol.
Proof of age scheme to be in place.
Challenge 25 policy to be applied and notice prominently displayed within the store area.
Electronic Till prompt to be in operation when alcohol is scanned to remind staff of responsibilities.
Age refusals register to be kept to record where sales of alcohol are challenged or refused.
All staff will be fully trained in relation to the contents of the premises licence and the procedures and legality of the sale of alcohol.
Records to be kept of such training.

Early and late staff movement noise to be kept to a minimum
Challenge 25 policy adhered to:
Acceptable ID:- ID card bearing the PASS logo
Photo Driving Licence

Conditions agreed with the Police Licensing Authority
Prevention of Crime and Disorder
· All staff shall be fully trained to perform their role. They will also be trained in the contents of the premises licence including times of operation, licensable activities and all conditions.
· Training shall be recorded in documentary form that will be available for inspection at the request at all reasonable times by an authorised officer from a relevant responsible authority. The records will be retained for at least 12months.
· An incident book shall be maintained to record any activity of a violent, criminal or anti-social nature. The record will contain the time and date, the nature of the incident, the people involved, the action taken and details of the person responsible for the management of the premises at the time of the incident.
· An incident book shall be available for inspection at all reasonable times by an authorised officer of relevant responsible authority. The records will be retained for at least 12 months.
· All staff shall be suitably trained in the operating procedures for refusing service to any person who is drunk or is under-age or appears to be under-age.
· Spirits and all alcoholic beverages on display will be in such a position so as not to be obscured from the constant view of the cashier / staff.
· The Premises Licence Holder will ensure that a CCTV system is fully compliant with the guidance contained in the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) guidance document (www.informationcommissioner.gov.uk) regarding installation of CCTV is provided at the premises.
· The CCTV system shall cover all areas of the premises to which the public have access including any outside areas.
· Images shall be retained for a minimum of 31 days
· The CCTV system shall be capable of downloading images to a recognisable viewable format.
· At all times the premises are open for business a member of staff shall be present who is capable of operating the CCTV system and downloading images at the request of police or other authorised office
· No sale of high strength beers or ciders above 6.5 ABV
Protection of Children:-
· The Premises Licence Holder or Designated Premises Supervisor shall ensure that all staff, supervisors and managers are trained in the legality and procedure of alcohol sales, using the SWERCOTS on-line training pack or equivalent, prior to undertaking the sale of alcohol and then at least every six months. Training shall be signed and documented and training records will be kept on the premises and be made available to an enforcement officer on request. The documentation relating to training should extend back to a period of three years and should specify the time, date and details of the persons both providing the training and receiving the training.
· The Premises Licence Holder or Designated Premises Supervisor shall ensure a sales refusal register is maintained to include details of all alcohol sales refused and the reason for refusal. The refusals register should be made available to an authorized enforcement officer on request.
