ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Alcohol shall not be sold in an open container or be consumed in the licensed premises.
The authorised hours for the sale of alcohol does not prohibit:
1. during the first twenty minutes after the end of authorised hours, the taking of the alcohol from the premises, unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel;
2. the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered;
3. the sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club;
4. the sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty’s naval, military or air forces;
Steps that have been taken to promote the Four Licensing Objectives
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. Comprehensive written organisational policies are implemented throughout the business and, where necessary or required to do so, appropriate training of colleagues is provided
2. Legal, security and health & safety or other professional advice is available to all branch colleagues and is provided centrally via the company head office
3. These premises benefit from internal CCTV cameras, which are operated from a locked master console contained within the manager's office. Tapes are then stored in locked storage in the manager's office for two weeks
4. These premises use three 'front of house' supervisors, who monitor the cashiers and carry out random trolley searches
The Protection of Children from Harm
1. All sales and supplies of alcohol and other products are limited to registered card holders and cards are not issued to anyone under the age of 18
2. Children are only admitted if accompanied by an adult at all times
