ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Four Licensing Objectives (b,c,d,e)
b) The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1.Whenever the DPS is not at the premises another Personal Licence Holder will be nominated by the DPS as being the person to manage the premises.
2.Digital CCTV system will be installed that covers all public access areas within the boundaries of the premises.
3.CCTV system will be maintained in good working order at all times and will include facial recognition at the entrance and exit points.
4.CCTV images recorded will comply with Home Office guidance regarding quality of the images and will be retained for 28 days.
5.CCTV system will be capable of being downloaded into a recognised viewable format.
6.At all times the premises are open for trade there will be a member of staff present who will immediately show images and download them in viewable format upon request of any member of a responsible authority.
7.A written record shall be held of all requests for CCTV images and will include the time, date and requesting authority together with the time date and nature of the incident. This record shall be produced on request to members of a responsible authority for a period of six months from the date of the incident.
8.Notice will be displayed at the entrance to the premises advising CCTV system is working.
c) Public Safety
1.An incident book will be maintained containing details of the date, time, type of incident, brief circumstances, and the reporting person. The log book will be available for inspection on the request of the Police or any other responsible authority.
2.No open bottles, glasses or other vessels will be taken from the premises.
3.A selection of soft drinks will also be sold at the premises.
d) The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1.The DPS or other nominated person shall ensure that exits will be manned at closing time to ensure that customers leave the area quickly and quietly as possible.
e) The Protection of Children from Harm
1.The premises will operate a Challenge 25 Policy.
2.Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 25 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18. The following are the forms on identification acceptable.
UK photo driving licence
Passport
Pass accredited cards
3.Notices obtained from Police publicising the Challenge 25 incentive shall be clearly displayed in the shop all times.
4.Regular training of staff will take place in relation to the prevention of underage sales, selling alcohol to drunks and drug awareness.
5.Documentation recording the time, subject and duration of training. This will include the persons attending and the person delivering the training. This will be retained for a period of two years and produced for the Police inspection on demand.
