ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Steps that have been taken to promote the Four Licensing Objectives
The Prevention of Crime & Disorder
1. Waiter/ waitress service is to be provided throughout the whole premises at all times that intoxicating liquor is sold or supplied
2. CCTV system to be installed, this system will incorporate a camera covering the public entrance door to the premises and be capable of producing an image which is regarded as being of identification standard. The CCTV system shall incorporate a recording facility and any recordings shall be retained and stored in a suitable and secure manner of a minimum of 31 days. The system shall comply with other essential legislation and all signs as required will be clearly displayed. The system will be maintained and fully operational throughout the hours that the premises are open for any licensable activity.
Public Safety
1. Fire appliances, suitable to the fire risks in the premises, shall be provided to the satisfaction of the Licensing Authority and such equipment shall be maintained in proper working order and kept available for instant use. Such equipment shall be conspicuously placed and unobstructed at all times.
2. The licensee shall ensure that any bottles or glasses are removed from persons leaving the licensable area.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. Background music shall not be played at a level that will cause unreasonable disturbance to the occupants of any properties in the vicinity.
2. The premises licence holder shall take appropriate measures to ensure that patrons leave the premises in a quiet & orderly fashion.
3. No accumulation of combustible rubbish, dirt, surplus material or stored goods shall be permitted to remain in any part of the premises except in an appropriate place & of such quantities so as not to cause a nuisance.
4. The premises licence holder shall ensure that adequate measures are in place to prevent the escape of odours from the premises. This includes odour from food preparation & refuse storage.
5. The premises licence holder shall ensure that adequate measures are in place to remove litter or waste arising from their customers & to prevent such litter from accumulating in the immediate vicinity of their premises.
6. The external seating area to the front of the property will not be used outside the following times 08.00hrs - 23.00hrs.
7. Prominent, clear notices shall be displayed at all exits requesting that customers respect the needs of local residents and leave the premises and area quietly.
The Protection of Children from Harm
1. All members of staff at the premises shall seek credible photographic proof of age evidence from any person who appears to be under the age of 18 years who is seeking to purchase or to consume alcohol at the premises. Such credible evidence, which shall include a photograph of the customer, will include a passport, photographic driving licence, or nationally recognised or accredited proof of age card.
