ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
A Conditions that have been agreed with the Environmental Health Authority
1. The delivery of goods is restricted to the normal working day.
2. All commercial waste collection will be arranged for after 8am.
B Steps that have been taken to promote the Four Licensing Objectives
There will be highly visible signage indicating legal restrictions and I.D. requirements.
Premises will endeavour to meet public needs without causing any unwelcome impact.
There will be regular contact with P.A.C.T. to be kept aware of any local problems or complaints.
The shop is equipped with Digital CCTV which records 24hrs/day.
High value alcohol eg Spirits will be displayed behind the counter available only on request.
Staff will be trained to recognise anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol and their purchase will be refused.
No one likely to cause a public nuisance or be of any danger to themselves or others will be sold alcohol.
Alcohol will be sold responsibly and customers will be dissuaded from consuming in public. The shop forecourt is private property and customers will be prevented from gathering and consuming alcohol in this area.
The shop already runs a policy of “If you look under 21 prove you are 18” on restricted goods with only credited Photo-ID being acceptable and a refusal log is used as applicable.
No adult purchasing alcohol for under age drinkers will be knowingly served and anyone found to be doing this will be reported to the PACT team.
