Steps that have been taken to promote the Four Licensing Objectives
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
The CCTV system to cover the alcohol aisle, checkout point and entrance to the premises and record images for 28 days. Recording to be made available to the police upon request.
Public Safety
A member of the Management team will be on the premises all the time the store is open.
A security guard to be employed at the premises from 11.00am until close unless in the event of exceptional circumstances.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
Incidents of crime and anti-social behaviour to be recorded, detailing time, incident details and action taken.
These records to be kept for 12 months.
The Protection of Children from Harm
All staff shall be trained to challenge every individual who appears to be under 25 years of age and to refuse service where individuals cannot produce acceptable means of identification. Such training shall be provided twice a year and written records shall be kept of all training, and refresher training. These records must be kept for 12 months and produced on request to police and trading standards officers.
The premises will operate a Challenge 25 policy.
