ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Steps that have been taken to promote the Four Licensing Objectives
• Training of staff appropriate to their role by a personal licence holder.
• Adequate staffing levels.
• Diary maintained of any material incidents within or in immediate vicinity of premises.
• No alcohol will be sold after 2am until 10am unless it is ancillary to a table meal with the exception of the following days. Valentines day, Burns Night, 1st March (St David’s), 17th March (St Patricks), St Georges Day, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, Sunday prior to first May Bank Holiday, May Bank Holiday (1st) Bank Holiday Monday, Sunday prior to second May Bank Holiday, May Bank Holiday (2nd) Bank Holiday Monday, Sunday prior to August Bank Holiday, August Bank Holiday Monday, Halloween, Guy Fawkes, St Andrew’s Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, 27th December, 28th December, 30th December. New Years Eve, New Years Day, Armistice Sunday and the following Monday. In addition significant local events provided there is prior notification to the Police Licensing Department and Plymouth City Council Licensing Department.
• Whenever the Designated Supervisor is not at the premises another responsible person
will be nominated by the Designated Premises Licence as being the person to manage the premises.
• Enhanced CCTV system with images to retained for a minimum of 14days to comply with the UK Requirements for Digital CCTV Systems.
• Clubwatch radio will be switched on and monitored at all times the premises are trading.
• No irresponsible drinks promotions or all-inclusive deals
• The fire safety measures with which the premises are provided, will be maintained in good working order, and their adequacy will be determined on a regular basis, by the carrying out of a fire risk assessment, as required by, and in accordance with the fire precautions (Workplace) Regulations. I understand that the safety of occupants is also influenced by numbers of persons present, their disposition and the activities taking place, and therefore undertake to maintain a safe occupancy level.
• Regular inspection of electrical installation, fire fighting equipment, gas installation, emergency lighting.
• Adequate toilet facilities to at least minimum hygiene standards.
• Staff training in at least minimum hygiene standards.
• Specific Food Hygiene Standards complied with.
• Health and Safety Risk Assessments for staff and customers
• Sound containment measures.
•Advisory notices re. noise on leaving premises.
• Freephone or similar taxi facility.
• “Open-door” policy towards neighbours.
• The Challenge 21 scheme will be adopted.
Conditions agreed with the Licensing Police Authority
• During the day the Armoury Forge Steak House will contain a ground floor bar, however after 2am the premises will be exclusively a restaurant containing 34 covers.
• No drinks hoarding will be permitted at any time.
• After midnight SIA registered staff will be employed to appropriate levels where the capacity exceeds 65 persons.
Conditions agreed with Environmental Health Authority
Public Nuisance
• Recorded music will be restricted to indoors only.
• Recorded music willl be suppressed and controlled by managment at all times.
• Live music will be restricted to indoors only.
• Live music will be un-amplified.
