Terms that have been agreed with The Travelodge Hotel at Derrys Cross
SRL should undertake sound insulation tests prior to work commencing to verify the assumptions made in the report, and to check on any flanking sound paths that might not otherwise be obvious. The tests to be witnessed by AAD. If the tests reveal the structure is weaker than they have assumed, they must undertake to carry out any additional sound insulation works deemed necessary to restore the situation (by mutual agreement).
Any live bands must use an inhouse PA system that includes a noise limiting device that must be set to an agreed level and locked off to avoid tampering.
Prior to first use of the Casino, commissioning test should be performed to verify the agreed source noise levels will not cause any disturbance, and also to set the noise limiter on the in-house PA system. Again, test to be witnessed by AAD. Any issues arising to be addressed prior to first use, or other mutually agreed timetable.
Notwithstanding the above, an agreed management plan must be put in place whereby there is a communication route between the hotel management and the Casino management, such that action will be taken by the Casino to immediately moderate any noise that is subject to reasonable complaint of disturbance raised by the hotel.
The agreed noise level within the Travelodge Bedrooms is not to exceed 20dl,s.
Steps that have been taken to promote the four licensing objectives
General
The premises are to be operated as a casino under the Gaming Act 1968 and (or such other legislation regulating gambling which may from time to time be in force) and is regulated by the Gambling Commisson. The premises licence holder is also subject to such money laundering regulations as may from time to time be in force.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
The premises has in place a comprehensive CCTV. The Gambling Commission certifies the management team as fit and proper persons to operate in a casino.
Public Safety
The premises licence holder will comply with Statutory Requirements for Health and Safety as from time to time be in force.
The casino is structurally adapted for the provision of the licensable activities.
The premises licence holder will comply with the fire authorities requirements.

No person under the age of 18 shall be present in any room while gaming under part 11 of the Gaming Act 1968 takes place in that room.
