Annex 3 - Conditions attached after a hearing by the licensing authority
(a) Doors and windows be kept shut during entertainment;
(b) Patrons be asked not to stand around talking in the street outside the premises or any car park; and asked to leave the vicinity quickly and quietly;
(c) A suitable nominated member of staff will be positioned at exits particularly at closing times;
(d) A specific taxi operator been nominated for staff and customers use. The company’s telephone number be advertised to customers. The operator, and all drivers, are aware that they should arrive and depart as quietly as possible, should not sound vehicle horns as a signal of their arrival or leave engines idling unnecessarily. In addition, staff will leave as quietly as possible, particularly at night and early in the morning;
(e) Staff will check prior to entertainment, and periodically during the entertainment, that all windows and doors are shut;
(f) A senior member of staff (manager) will assess the impact of any noisy activities on neighbouring residential premises at the start of the activity/ entertainment and periodically throughout the activity/ entertainment;
(g) Management will control the sound levels of the music/ entertainment;
Before 23:00 hrs
(h) To prevent entertainment being intrusive, noise emanating from the premises will not be clearly audible 1 metre from the façade of the nearest residential property;
(i) Live entertainment to be held only on Friday and Saturday evenings and one other evening in the week (no live and recorded music (other than background recorded music) beyond 23:30 hrs);
Between 23:00 hrs and 01:30 hrs
(j) To prevent entertainment being intrusive, noise emanating from the premises will not be clearly distinguishable above other noise 1 metre from the façade of the nearest residential property;
(k) The use of the beer garden will not commence before the start of normal trading hours and will cease at 22:00 hrs;
(l) Staff will monitor the use of the car park to ensure patrons do not congregate in this area and cause annoyance;
(m) To have no tables, chairs, benches, or any other furniture to be used by patrons at the front of the property.
