ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Conditions that have been agreed with the Environmental Health Authority
Public Safety
1. An air management system within the premises will be used during entertainment, as there will be insufficient ventilation when all windows and doors are closed, to prevent noise break out
Public Nuisance
1. Doors and windows will be kept shut during entertainment
2. Entrances will be provided with lobbies with automatic door-closers. The lobbies are in use throughout the time of entertainment
3. Staff will check prior to entertainment, and periodically during the entertainment, that all windows and doors are shut
4. A senior member of staff (manager) will assess the impact of any noisy activities on neighbouring premises at the start of the activity/entertainment and periodically throughout the activity/entertainment and take action to reduce noise levels if they are found to be excessive/distinguishable above background levels at the nearest residential property
5. To prevent entertainment being intrusive, noise emanating from the premises will not be clearly distinguishable above other noise one metre from the façade of the nearest residential property
Steps that have been taken to promote the Four Licensing Objectives
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder/Public Safety
1. A CCTV system and Health & Safety policies are in place and staff are fully trained
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. There is ample car parking space available
2. Patrons are asked to leave quietly after using the premises
The Prevention of Children from Harm
1. Children need to be accompanied by adults in the bar area
2. Childrens parties etc. take place in a segregated area of the lounge or the multi-use rooms
3. Children are at all times supervised by adults
